Chicago’s rise in popularity has left an unmistakable mark in Hip-Hop in 2012 and King Louie has been right in the middle of that sudden surge. With songs like “Val Venis,” and recently scoring a record deal with Epic Records, Chicago is a hotbed for new Rap talent like Chief Keef, LEP Bogus Boys, Paypa and more. King Louie (Or King L) stopped by the Hip-Hop Wired offices and spoke on Chicago’s rise as well as how he found out about Kanye West’s shout out to him on the “I Don’t Like” remix and Chief Keef’s Interscope deal.
