When pressed about the possibility of replacing (Toney) Douglas or (Landry) Fields in the starting lineup, (Mike) D’Antoni hedged.
“I think you all pushed me down the road a little too far too [quickly],” he told reporters. “We’re good where we are. We’re starting [Douglas and Fields on Wednesday]. We’ll make an assessment of [Wednesday's] game and two practices and then we’ll see on Sunday.
“I would probably say that the group that we started the two games will probably start Sunday. I want to leave it open a little bit in case we have a change of heart or I think something looks better. But I’m thinking we stay the same for a little bit and give it a chance. After two or three weeks … then we’ll make changes if we need to.”
