Kentucky’s starting lineup will collectively travel to the NBA.
The quintet made its decision public on Tuesday as freshmen Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Marquis Teague as well as sophomores Terrence Jones and Doron Lamb declared for the draft.
The group played a significant role in Kentucky claiming its eighth NCAA championship with a 67-59 victory over Kansas in the title game.
Davis, a 6-foot-10 forward, is the headliner of the group. The national player of year is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.
