Snoop’s just a Dogg who can’t say no—the guy loves doing stuff. In 2012 alone, he’s hosted The Price is Right, agreed to headline Coachella, and gotten arrested for marijuana possession. (To be fair, he might not have had all that much agency in that last one.) Now, he’s releasing his own brand of cigars—an appropriate-enough line of business for the P.I.M.P.—enetitled Executive Branch, available for $ .99 a pouch (two per pouch), to be revealed at his aforementioned Coachella gig co-headlining with one-time labelmate Dr. Dre. Snoop explains his new venture via press release:
Throughout my career I have been lucky enough to travel the world and try all different types of tobacco products. During my travels throughout South America and the Caribbean, I was fortunate to encounter this tobacco company, Executive Branch and was so impressed by their commitment to quality [far superior than all others], I knew I had to bring them to the States for all my fans to enjoy…Throughout 2012, we plan on releasing new styles and flavors, in which I will be working with their team to make sure all products are up to Snoop Dogg standards.
And lofty standards they are. In the meantime, Snoop recently took a brief pause from business to hook up with some famous buds in San Antonio—disgraced pitching legend Roger Clemens and in-and-out-of-disgrace country superstar Toby Keith. The great thing about Snoop is that he can show up in photos like this without any context or explanation, and no matter who the other celebs are, it seems to make an inherent kind of sense. That’s just how the Doggfather rolls.
