Taye Diggs talked about meeting his wife on the set of Rent. Diggs also discussed his attitude toward blacks who disapprove of his marriage to a white woman. Further, Diggs recalled being made fun of by both blacks and whites for not fitting in either racial world. Diggs mentions his children’s book Chocolate Like Me, which he hopes will foster racial self-esteem among black children.
