Avril Lavigne’s “Goodbye” video, if anything, teaches the world one lesson: you can grow up, get back to your room, do your makeup and choose your perfect outfit and everything, even walk in with a leopard coat, and wait for hours taking pictures and watching windows, but it doesn’t mean someone will show up. It doesn’t even mean you’ll be filmed in color rather than black or white. There is always a point where it’s goodbye. In this video, it’s probably the point where Avril flings that coat across the Chateau Marmont room.
