The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner

Word on the curb is that Bravo producers are currently scouring The Big Peach (read: camping out at Phipps Plaza) for a fresh face to join The Real Housewives of Atlanta for its fifth season.

This won’t end well.

Several of my inside sources have confirmed that Toya, a friend of current “housewives” Phaedra Parks (who worked with Toya on The Tiny & Toya Show) and Kandi Burruss (with who Toya recently partnered with in a fitness campaign), is a front runner on the list.

Here’s a slight confession: I haven’t watched an episode of the show since Marlo Hampton dropped the other F-bomb during the gworls’ time in Africa. I’m not qualified in the least to lead a conversation on who should join the cast since I refuse to excuse myself from Oprah’s Master Class to watch hood socialites tip and sip. Bring me a show that focuses primarily on the traces of Miss Lawrence’s lipstick or the sway in Derek J’s back and you’ve got my Nielsen ratings!

But for the most part I agree with the majority of ATLien’s fantasy team selections: Monyetta Show (the strip club loving mother of Ne-Yo‘s child), Marjorie Harvey (Steve Harvey’s wife) and Tameka Raymond (Usher’s ex-wife). Who would you like to see join The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast?
