It just wouldn’t be a breakout year for Gotye in the United States without a Saturday Night Live appearance, would it? The Hot 100′s one thing, Coachella is another thing, quickly sold-out U.S. tours are definitely another thing viral covers are super-definitely another thing, and SNL’s just the next logical step in that list of things. The Making Mirrors artist will appear on the show’s April 14 episode, hosted by Josh Brolin.
Awesome stuff. Let’s just hope he goes deeper than “Someone Than I Used To Know,” because like Australia before us, we love the track but are ready for a change. Although if skits are up for taking, there is comedic value to be found in body paint….
