Nicki Minaj Performs ‘Starships’ On American Idol

Nicki Minaj performed “Starships” on American Idol last night, dressed as some sort of intergalactic mermaid that shops on Jamaica Ave. There was tons of spinning and walking around by the pop star, but with songs like these, all you really need are bright colors and the ability to jump.

After her show, Nicki expressed her desire to guest judge on Idol sometime and jokingly asked J. Lo to “scoot over” to let her on the panel. Jennifer replied “I don’t know if there’s enough room for both of us up here.” Truthfully, neither one of them can sing, so…how about hiring JoJo?
