Floyd Mayweather Jr. Reports To Jail Accompanied By 50 Cent
Boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. was booked into a Las Vegas jail on Friday (June 1) to serve a 90-day sentence for domestic violence against an ex-girlfriend in September 2010 while two of their children watched.
50 Cent accompanied his trade to the Clark County Regional Justice Center as he surrendered to serve a three-month jail sentence at the Clark County Detention Center. Anybody else hear “Never Can Say Goodbye” playing?
“Everyone has a different version of the same story,” the rapper told reporters after arriving with Mayweather to the courthouse in downtown Las Vegas.
“It’s no different than anyone going through a divorce and how your friends can become your vested enemies.”
