Rihanna Scores her 12th No. 1 Hit
Rihanna’s latest single is shining bright on the charts.
The 24-year olds’ song “Diamonds,” is her 12th number one hit on Billboard’s Hot 100 list. It surpassed Maroon 5′s “One More Night” on the charts.
“Diamonds is Rihanna‘s 12th number one, at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 Single chart this week!” her record label Def Jam Records tweeted yesterday.
Rihanna has exceeded Whitney Houston’s 11 number one hits, and is now currently tied with Madonna at 12. She is second to Mariah Carey who is still reigning on the charts with 18 number one singles.
Rihanna’s seventh album “Unapologetic” was released earlier this week.
