DC Design Avanti Revealed in India
And this, friends is India’s first supercar, the DC Avanti.
It’s powered by a mid-mounted turbocharged Ford EcoBoost 4-cylinder making 240-horsepower but will eventually (hopefully?) be powered by a turbocharged Honda V6 that should do 400. The base transmission is a 6-speed manual, but a dual clutch Power Shift transmission will be available. The Avanti weighs in at 3,439 pounds, has a 106 inch wheelbase and is 182 inches long.
$ 56,000 for an Explorer motor in a…this thing? No thanks.
