The old maxim is that it’s more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow I’m not entirely sure how into this theory I am. Sure, you can reach the limits in an easy and fun way, but what fun is that after the first week?
Our man Kurt Niebuhr is 100% behind this idea, though, especially in video games. Whenever we hook up Forza over at Casahashi (code for Takahashi’s house), he immediately selects the slowest possible cars to race on the fastest tracks. Kurt, then, will love the 1966 Ford Country Squire that will be available in the March Pirelli Car pack.
Other cars included are less ridiculous, but should be just as fun to race. They include the 1995 BMW 850CSI, 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV-6, 2011 Weismann GT MF5, 1969 Chevy Corvair Monza, 1969 Chevy Nova SS 396, 2012 Ultima GTR (which has a 565-horsepower 7.0-liter Z06 motor and weighs 2,200 lbs), 1971 Ferrari 312 P and the 2011 Aston Martin V12 Zagato. We’ll buy this pack ($ 7) just to hear theh V12 Zagato in our living room.
Video after the jump.
