Jay-Z / Kanye West Maybach Sells for Only $60,000 at Auction

Hey, remember that time Kanye West and Jay-Z took some Sawzalls to a Maybach to make one of the more painful rap videos (which is saying something) we’ve ever seen? And remember when they put that same demolished car up for auction to benefit Save the Children?

Well, despite an auction estimate of $ 100,000 – $ 150,000 (Maybachs start new at $ 372,500), it turns out people are a lot less interested in a “custom” Maybach that is little more than an art display. The final sale price for the Maybach was $ 60,000 and we’re trying to figure out if that’s a good deal or if they still overpaid.
