I know it’s way too early to start talking about Fall 2012 trends but this is one that you can get started wearing right now: leather accents. Remember last Fall leather had a major moment? We can expect the same next Fall. But with a twist, we saw leather accents come down Fall 2012 runways like Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Balenciaga, Alexander Wang, and Acne. Leather detailing in an unexpected place like on the sleeve or piping on a dress.

Now imagine those same leather accents on your favorite Spring 2012 trends (like neon and floral by Freida Pinto and Anna Wintour/June Ambrose, respectively).
